Govindas in Ottawa
I was at Ryerson University and there is some road construction happening inside the campus in preparation for new students to arrive. It was very hard to speak with anyone in such high noise levels but we were trying and praying for help. At this time, a tall man in a red T-shirt looked in my direction. I spoke with him and quickly upon seeing the books he recognized who were. He started to explain he was from Ottawa and used to visit Govindas there on University campus. He had very fond memories and was explaining ever since he moved to Toronto he was missing the Prashadam in Ottawa. I asked him if he knew Shankar prabhu who managed that centre and he started to explain how much he liked his association and cooking! I showed him the Bhagavad gita and he heard attentively about the contents of the Gita and gave a donation for it. He said he would come visit us simply because he missed the food so much and would like to know more. It is so nice to see how one devotee's efforts cascade down the boundaries of cities and countries.
